Overview
Coordinates control where a stop is placed on the map and where the driver is guided when they arrive. An order can carry three coordinates, and all of them are managed from the same place on the order.
Address is the routing coordinate. It belongs to the address itself and is what routing and navigation use. It always exists, and it can be corrected but not removed.
Entrance and Parking are optional and work the same way as each other — they only differ in type. Use them when the address alone isn't enough guidance: which door the driver should head for, and where the vehicle can actually stand. These two stay with the end customer and the order, so they follow along to that customer's coming deliveries.
Finding the Coordinates section
In order to manage the coordinates of an order, you need to locate the section. Navigate to the order details page and scroll down to Coordinates, just below Delivery preferences.
Every coordinate on the order is listed with its type and position, and each one has a matching pin on the map:
📍 - Address coordinate
Ⓟ - Parking coordinate
🚪 - Entrance coordinate
Update an existing coordinate
Open the menu on the coordinate row and choose Edit.
Click the spot on the map where the coordinate belongs, or type the position into the field as latitude and longitude separated by a comma.
Press Save.
Cancel leaves the coordinate as it was.
Add an entrance or parking coordinate
Press Add.
Choose Entrance or Parking in the dropdown.
Click the spot on the map, or type the position into the field.
Press Save.
Only types that aren't already on the order can be selected, since an order holds one of each at most. Once all three are in place, the Add button is greyed out — remove one to add a different type.
Remove a coordinate
Open the menu on the entrance or parking row.
Choose Delete.
The pin disappears from the map straight away. The address coordinate has no Delete option — it's needed for routing, so it can only be corrected.
A few things worth knowing
Only the address coordinate affects routing and the planned order of stops. Entrance and parking are guidance for the driver on arrival.
Entrance and parking stay with the end customer, not with the address. Correcting them once pays off on every future delivery to that customer, but other customers at the same address are not connected to those coordinates and keep their own.
