Release: 2022-03-25
Time flies when you're having fun. We're excited to tell you a bit about what we've been working on in the product.
SMS templates for quicker communication đ€łđŹ
Sending individual text messages has for long been an integral part of Gordon Cloud. We've received some feedback and requests to add more functionality and flexibility.
That's why we're introducing SMS templates. This will ensure even quicker, and more consistent, communication with the end customers.
Create, edit, and delete templates
You're able to manage all your SMS templates under âAccountâ and âSettingsâ. Create as many templates as youâd like (and need). Simply start by giving it a name (this is not visible to the recipient) and type your message.
Remember that there is a 160 characters limit per message. If you exceed that limit, it will be counted (and charged) as multiple messages.
In this section, you can also edit existing templates or delete templates you no longer user.
Note: You'll need Admin rights in order to create new templates.
Send text messages
The templates are not connected to any automations. You need to trigger each message manually. You can either bulk send to the entire route or select a few recipients. So how do you do it?
Navigate to the route in question and select the desired recipients.
Click âActionâ and âSend SMSâ.
Use the dropdown and choose the template youâd like to use.
Customize your message. Changes will only be made to the outgoing message and wonât affect the template.
Other fixes and improvements đ«
Added a snowflake icon on routes containing frozen goods. This requires the field
inventory[0].typewhen importing orders.Adjusted how we display ratings in Activity. Instead of using stars, itâs simply displayed as average rating (amount of ratings). E.g. "4.7 (3)"
Made the header in Activity with all of the titles sticky so it doesn't disappear when you scroll down the page.
Possibility to find orders with missing coordinates. Navigate to "Search" and filter on "Search Mode" -> "Missing coordinates".
